A family led social enterprise for people managing their own support
IBK Initiatives is a family led social enterprise supporting disabled people of all ages and their families. We provide a range of services including payroll, budget management, help with the recruitment of Personal Assistants for people managing their own support, and co-ordinating personalised education programmes. We recognise how important having the right support makes to our quality of life.
IBK stands for ‘Inspired by Kim’. Kim was the son of Pippa Murray. He died in 1998 as a result of his many and severe impairments. Kim’s life inspired Pippa to start an organisation offering support for disabled people and their families. Read more about how IBK started and has evolved over time.
